Monthly Newsletter
We are very pleased with the participation exhibited by the parents of New Horizons School. Each parent has contributed time and effort to improve our school and we are very thankful. In addition, we have been benefactors of support from the San Antonio business community. We thank each business listed on our thank-you page and encourage our parents to support them if you ever need services for your homes.

Hours
New Horizons Schools, Daycare and Learning Center is open from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, twelve months a year.
Meals:
We provide nutritious, home-cooked meals that are well balanced to meet your child’s nutritional requirements. Each full-day student receives a morning snack at 9AM, hot lunch with milk at 11AM, and afternoon snack with juice at 3PM with water provided throughout the day. Our menus are posted monthly and copies are available at the front desk.
We encourage parents to provide their children with a nutritious breakfast before coming to school.
Open House & Semi-Annual Child Evaluations
We encourage parents to participate in our scheduled Open Houses or come in and evaluate any of our classes anytime. Our highly experienced staff conducts semi-annual child evaluations and communicates results with parents providing feedback and recommendations.

Financial Information
CCDS San Antonio
Often times families will call our learning center to ask if New Horizons accepts CCDS or child care assistance from Bexar County. The answer is yes. We are one of a number of providers who believe in the mission to: provide a community safety net by offering quality child care assistance to Bexar County. You can download the applications needed to apply to the City of San Antonio.
Please visit their website for application processing and to ask questions about the program. Please do not call New Horizons to answer your questions about the city program. We are not experts and cannot answer your questions.
Safety & Developments
Safety & Sanitation
We promote individual attention and supervision through a low student to teacher ratio. Consistent maintenance inspections are performed on all areas of our facility, with updates being made as needed. Our playground is designed similar to a backyard plays cape with soft grass, protective fencing and age-appropriate equipment. Our after-school transportation is maintained and professionally cleaned on a regular basis. Each vehicle is equipped with first-aid supplies, mobile telephone.
Our facility is cleaned and toys sanitized on a daily basis.
